Many people do not like the taste or the texture of the carrots. And this is a good way of eating them by preparing delicious crispy healthy chips without losing the nutritional values and benefits described before. No one will be able to resist trying them. They can even become a recurring aliment for the aperitif.
The recipe is very easy and can be prepared in a few minutes. That is why it can also be taught to children.

Ingredients
- 5 big carrots
- Ground black peppercorn
- Salt
Instructions
- Place a piece of parchment paper on the microwave plate correctly so that the plate can rotate when the microwaves is turned on.
- Wash the carrots and cut them into very fine pieces with a peeler. These cuts can be made in the form of elongated or round layers, depending on the size of the chips you want.
- Place the different slices on the parchment paper, separated from each other.
- Sprinkle a little salt and black pepper over the carrot pieces.
- Put the dish in the microwave and turn it on at 800 watts for 6 minutes.
- Finally, the carrot layers will have toasted but will still be quite moist, as the carrot has a lot of water. Therefore, it only remains to remove them from the microwave and let them cool in the open air so that they dry and become crisp.

Recommendations
The microwave is the easiest and fastest way to prepare this recipe. But you can also use the oven instead of the microwave. To do this, you will have to turn on the oven as soon as you start the recipe to preheat it to 150ºC. It will be ready when you finish preparing the chips.
Regarding the amount of carrots that should be used per person, bear in mind that carrots are mostly composed by water. So, their size will be greatly reduced when heated. This means that around 2 – 3 carrots will be needed per person to elaborate this recipe.
