How to cut potato wedges.

It is very simple. Once the potatoes are washed slice them in half. Afterwards, place the cut side of the potato upside down and cut it in half again. Now, you will have each potato diveded in four pieces. Finally, depending on the size of the potatoes or the thickness of the slice you want, each piece of potato could be cut again in half.

Is it possible to remove the olive oil from the recipe?

Yes, it is possible. The olive oil helps making the potatoes crispier and tastier, but it is not an essential ingredient. However, it is also used to ensure all of the seasonings stick to the potatoes. This is why it would be convenient to replace the olive oil with water or lemon juice.
