- 3 apples any variety works, but I recommend Granny Smith and Golden varieties
- Cinnamon powder optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 60ºC.
- Wash and core the apples. Then cut them into thin slices. There is no need to peel them, but you can if you want to.
- Put the apple slices on a baking sheet, together but without stacking.
- Optionally, sprinkle a little cinnamon powder on top.
- Put the apple slices in the oven at low temperature (60ºC) for 6 – 8 hours (all night long).
- Let them cool slightly and serve.
Notes
Of course, if you own a food dehydrator at home, then this recipe will be easier for you. Just place the apple slices in the trays of the machine and turn it on at 60ºC for at least 5 hours.
