Equipment

  • 1 Pot
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Wooden spoon
  • 1 Strainer big

Ingredients

  • 500 grams spaghetti
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 50 ml Olive oil extra virgin
  • Parsley
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Cook the spaghetti by bringing a large pot of water to a boil. Add salt generously. Cook the spaghetti following the package instructions until they are al dente (usually about 10 minutes). Drain them and reserve a bit of the cooking water.
  • Prepare the garlic oil while the spaghetti are cooking. To do this, heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Finely chop the garlic cloves and add them to the pan, letting them cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until they are slightly golden. Be careful not to burn them.
  • Next, combine the ingredients by adding the cooked spaghetti to the pan with the garlic oil. Mix well to ensure the spaghetti are infused with the flavor of the garlic and oil. If the mixture seems too dry, add a bit of the reserved cooking water to create a light sauce.
  • Season by adding salt to taste. Sprinkle previously chopped fresh parsley over the garlic-infused spaghetti and stir again to distribute it evenly.
  • Serve the garlic-infused spaghetti immediately while they are hot. Enjoy your meal!
