berry smoothie

This red berries smoothie recipe is very appetizing on summer days because it is very refreshing and at the same time very healthy. The latter is due to the fact that forest fruits are very nutritious, they provide many vitamins but, above all, they stand out for their high antioxidant power.

Recommendations

Fresh fruit or frozen fruit?

To prepare smoothies it is better tou use frozen fruit. This is because it makes the smoothie creamier and thicker. Frozen fruit can be found in any supermarket. But if you only have fresh fruit you can freeze it before starting with the recipe for 45 minutes. Instead, you can also add several ice cubes.

Which sweetener suits best?

You can add any sweetener you desire. In this case, I recommend liquid honey because it is a healthier sweetener or sugar instead. But you can also substitute them with others like agave syrup, maple syrup or Stevia.
